Is there a minimum booking?
Yes, three hours is the minimum booking for each engagement.
What are the rates?
These are discussed with the client at the time of the enquiry when the job is scoped. All rates quoted are cash rates. If an invoice is required, there is an additional charge.
What happens if the booking needs to be cancelled?
Contact the Agency as soon as possible to advise of the cancellation.
If the booking is cancelled within twelve (12) hours of the start time a $75 cancellation fee is incurred.
If the booking is cancelled within two (2) hours of the start time, or the client fails to notify the agency at all, a fee equal to the first 3 hours of the booking will be charged.
All cancellation fees are payable via credit card directly to the Agency.
What about insurance?
The carers are independent contractors and all are offered insurance through the Agency. Your best protection against breakages and in-home injury is to ensure that your household insurance policy has adequate public liability insurance and contents insurance.
What about WorkCover?
If remuneration to your carer is less than $7,500 per annum, they are automatically covered by WorkCover. However if remuneration exceeds this amount you, the client, must register with WorkCover.
